Drone Training with the

Volunteer Firefighters of Provost

AgCon Aerial recently completed training for the Volunteer Firefighters in Provost, Alberta. The firefighters attending learned a variety of information including the theory of flying drones, radio communication and weather.

One of the drones that the Provost Fire Department owns, has a thermal imaging unit. With the use of the unit and a high-resolution camera it will allow them to find missing people and get a different look at a roof or burning building.

During the two day weekend course, 13 local firefighters took their exams and earned their UAV Ground School Certificate.

Congratulations to all the Volunteer Firefighters who came out to this course!
