Colin Hubick
AgCon Aerial Corp. is pleased to announce the hiring of Colin Hubick in the role of Business Development, and Regulatory Specialist. In Colin’s previous role as Unmanned Aerial Vehicle manager for an international firm and his experience as BIM Modelling Specialist, and Digital Manager prior to that, as well as over a decade working in film/tv as a technical director and visual effects supervisor, Colin brings a wealth of regulatory and technical expertise that is an asset to AgCon Aerial’s vision for the future.
Colin Hubick has worked extensively as a technologist in various industries including Architecture, Engineering, as well as Film and Television. He has also supplied software and hardware development services to many technological companies related to UAV mapping, UAV platform development, imaging software and camera development. Colin has worked extensively in the advertising and marketing industry as well.
With more than two decades of experience in emerging technological trends, Colin is one of Canada’s leading authorities in camera technologies, digital imaging, UAV mapping and Photogrammetry. He is a specialist in film post production and media development, his skill sets have been widely used on projects ranging from challenging UAS mapping ops to challenging visual effects for film.
With over 25 years of RC and UAS experience, Colin is a certified UAS pilot, and holds blanket SFOCs from Transport Canada for commercial UAS use in Canada. Colin has logged hundreds of hours with a wide variety of remotely controlled aircraft and UAS systems. In addition, Colin has also completed the necessary aviation ground school and radio operator certificate required by Transport Canada and is actively working towards his private pilot license. Colin is also actively involved in the drone racing community, both as a organizer, and as a pilot.
